Flying Jewel Ring is a very cool and well done piece of jewelry combining metal with organics. To give his piece iridescent color, ~LaughingScarab used the skeleton of a real junebug - combining it with silver to create an awesome-looking ring.

Description

A ring in fine silver with beetle-shell inlay around the band and a Green June Bug set atop it. Wire-constructed wings spread out from the beetle as it takes off from the hand.
The reflective underbelly of the beetle and the iridescent inlay play off each other to the sides for a spectacular green and copper contrast.

I'm sure you already know this, seeing as how it's connected to your name, but this is reminiscent of funerary scarab jewelery. It's also very cool You used an actual insect for this?
