Phoenix Amuletby ~LaughingScarab

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry

Inspired by my in-progress Heart of Fire necklace, this piece has its own background, however cliched. I won't go into detail, but I have been in one hell of a rut lately and only a few days ago did I gather enough vim to start working again. Naturally, the first thing I put together was an ancient symbol for rising up from the ashes of change.

I haven't decided whether to sell it or not; I probably should if anyone wants to buy it. Make me an offer if you'd like it.

Copper, 24k gold leaf, torch-fired enamel;
about 3" long with dangles, suspended on a 22" darkened copper-plated chain with vermeil clasp.

Being a natural mythical creature/deity tard, I simply have to express how much i love this charm! Its so ancient looking, but at the same time it holds the vibrant colors in that of a phoenix. damn, i would buy but having little money to throw around...you get the point v.v

The same thing happened to me years ago with a rut and phoenix. I'd say the phoenix is the patron saint of the Artist's Block.
